How to reach Suzhou Soochow University from Shanghai/Wuxi Airport?

Airports:
Suzhou does not have its own airport. Passengers must take plane to neighboring Wuxi’s airport, or Shanghai Hongqiao Airport(SHA) or Shanghai Pudong Airport(PVG).
Sunan Shuofang International Airport
Sunan Shuofang International Airport, originally known as Wuxi International Airport, is the closest airport to Suzhou. Recently, the airport has opened international routes to Tokyo,Osaka and Bangkok.
It takes around one hour to reach Suzhou. When arriving at Suzhou, you can take a taxi to university which costs around 20-25RMB.
Shuttle bus: Ticket: 30 yuan
Suzhou Terminal to Shuofang Airport:6am, 8:40am, 9:30am, 12:40pm, 2:30pm, 5:30pm.
Shuofang Airport to SuzhouTerminal: 10:30am, 11:30am, 2:30pm, 5:10pm, 8:20pm, 9:30pm.
Shanghai Pudong International Airport
Pudong airport is the newer and bigger of Shanghai’s two airports, and it predominantly handles international flights.
You may find shuttle bus to Suzhou in the parking lot outside gate 15 of the airport. It takes around 2.5hours to reach Suzhou. Take off at the station of Central Park and take go the east campus (where the dormitories are located) by taxi which costs 11RMB. Shuttle bus set off to Shanghai airport is located at #115 Ganjiang Road.

Suzhou to Pudong airport: 6:15am,7:15am, 7:45am, 8:15am, 8:45am, 9:15am, 9:45am, 10:15am, 10:45am, 11:05am, 11:25am,12:45pm, 13:25pm, 14:05pm, 14:45pm, 15:25pm, 16:05pm.
Pudong Airport to Suzhou: 10:00am,10:40am, 11:10am, 11:40am, 12:10pm, 12:40pm, 13:10pm, 13:50pm, 14:20pm, 14:50pm,15:20pm, 16:10pm, 16:50pm, 17:30pm, 18:10pm, 18:50pm.

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport
Shanghai Hongqiao Airport now handles both international and domestic flights daily to Japan, South Korea,China’s Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, as well as many other cities in China.
Apart from flights, the Transportation Hub is also integrated with the metro, trains, taxis and public buses. International flights will land on terminal 1, take metro Line 2 or 10 to the railway station and train with “G”, “D”, you can reach Suzhou in 30minutes or so. Take a taxi to university costs around 25RMB. You can also reach the main campus by metro at the station Xiangmen.

Suzhou to Hongqiao Airport: 6:15am,6:45am, 7:15am, 7:45am, 8:15am, 8:45am, 9:15am, 9:45am, 10:15am, 10:45am,11:05am, 11:25am, 12:45pm, 13:25pm, 14:05pm, 14:45pm, 15:25pm, 16:05pm.
Hongqiao Airport to Suzhou: 10:00am,11:00am, 11:40am, 12:10pm, 12:40pm, 13:10pm, 13:50pm, 14:20pm, 14:50pm, 15:20pm,16:10pm, 17:10pm, 17:50pm, 18:30pm, 19:10pm, 19:50pm, 20:30pm, 21:00pm.

Railway Station
There are mainly three railway stations in Suzhou, Suzhou Railway Station, Fast Speed North Station, Fast Speed Station in SIP. If you arrive atthe former two stations, you can take metro line 2 and transfer at Guangji Roadstation to line 1. Get off at Xiangmen station and take Exit 1, you will get tomain campus of SU. If you arrive at Fast Speed Station in SIP, you can onlytake taxi which costs around 40RMB to SU.
Metro
Subway Line 1 starts from Wuzhong District Mudu Station and the terminal is Zhongnan Street Station inthe Industrial Zone. Suzhou Metro Line 2 stretches from High Speed North Rail Station in to Baodaiqiao Station in Wuzhong District.
Ticket prices range from 2 to 6 yuan (1 US dollar)depending on the distance. But transfer between Line 1 and Line 2 at GuangjiRoad Station, Xingtang Street Station, Zhongnan Street Station and High SpeedRailway Station will cost more, but within 7 yuan.
